I am a past military man having served during the Vietnam conflict and was treated poorly when returned home like most.
Standing for a Vietnam vet tomorrow and PROUD TO DO IT.RIDE SAFEBustedwing's statement above makes me think back to my military days during Vietnam. I clearly remember being told "NOT" to wear our uniforms when we went out on liberty. They didn't want us to become targets for the protesters and wind up in fights. Yes,, things have finally changed for the better!
And please don't forget our women Veterans!

Today Ruth and I had the privilege of escorting the cremains of 19 veterans to their final resting place in the Sierra Vista, Az. National cemetary. Approx. 150 bikes proceeded to do an escort from Tucson to Sierra Vista for a very touching ceremony. If you have never heard of the MIAP, they are a group dedicated to locating the remains of veterans that have been sitting on shelves in mortuarys for years. Through new means of testing they are able to identify vets remains that have never been claimed. Some were from WWll, and others from Korea, Viet Nam and also the cold war. This is a national group. Look them up on the internet for more info. Thanks
