Just put the BT45 on the front of my 07 wing trike. Should I run 40 air pressure since it is really a back tire instead of the normal 36?

Im the Lone Wolf here who runs them at 36 or less sometimes.
Both on my 2 wheelers since Im a darksider.
Car tire on rear, rear tire on front. And have been doing so for over 30 years.
41 is the max pressure recommended as a rear tire.
On most 2 wheelers no one unless your carrying a max load pumps up a rear to 41. So why do it when its run as a front??
I run my MPA at 36psi and find I have a much better ride. At 41 it feels like a rock to me. I still will get better then 20K out of the tire. It has 12K on it and looks brand new still.

Rear tire on my RoadStar 17K so far.
Muck larger contact patch and far superior in the rain here.
Dammed lawyers.

I've posted several times about this. Don't know where this 40/41/42psi in a front tire ever got started. I too, ran 42psi and was upset about how harsh the front end was.
Kinda makes sense, rock hard tire=rough front end.
When I put on my new tire last year, I went w/36psi. Much more pleasent ride:clapping:
I have not experienced any "tire roll" at this pressure and I can tell you, I've run the Dragon hard enough to raise the inside rear wheel in some of the corners:Coffee:
That said, to each his own.
