Stallion Igniition Key

Just a reminder, the ignition key may be “chipped”, but it does not require a “chipped key”. I went to Home Depot to get a duplicate key made and when they checked to see if it was chipped, it showed it was. The guy was going to charge me $74 for the key, but I thought I read on this forum that it was not necessary. I called TMS to confirm and was told a regular $2 key would work . . . and it does. So don’t let a key maker try and sell you the more expensive blank.

Yep we covered this back in 2009, but it never hurts to say it again for the new members.

Suggest that an extra key be placed in a secret location on the trike. Once I put my key in my jacket, then put the jacket in the trunk and I do not have a remote release as some later models. I carry one in my wallet.

We hid a key under the leather piece that goes around the backing for the rider back rest right up next to the post. Wrapped in foam stays put and does not show

OK so maybe I am a newbie but I'm tring to have as much fun under the sun as I can. See you in June down in Arkansas. I was into showing cars back in my younger days. I kept telling everone when I got into my 50's that I hadn't made it to my motorcycle years yet (joking) but then it happened.

John, they do carry both types of blank keys.
