Stallion Rear Suspension Problem

You could also change out the rod ends to one with grease fittings in them providing there is room .

I was looking into those too, but the one's with grease fittings seem to be scarce, and given the limited space between the floor pan and the heim joint's mounting point, I'm not sure those would not have fitment issues, but I'm working off memory since it's been many years since I've owned a Stallion.

Yep, but this was due to the heim joints becoming frozen up, yes?
This is interesting as I have used rod ends for years on hot rods race cars and other things . I dont think ive ever had one freeze up. Ive had them get loose and actually come apart . You will find in a lot of cases you can use a washer made just as a safety if they come apart. Thats a strange environment under there if they are freezing up ?

Looking at the rod ends they used on the original setup they picked the cheapest ones they could get as do most manufactures .
All rod ends are not the same there are better.
