Spedometer Problem & Emergency Brake Problem

I have to put my Freewheeler in the shop this Saturday due to the subject problems. For the last month or so, I have had a problem with my speedometer. I have to keep my bike outside under a cover due to me not having a garage. Here in Southeast Texas, it's pretty humid on a regular basis. I have had a problem with it fogging up when I ride. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I was riding out in the country and it went from 0 to 80 in about 20 feet. I know it can be pretty quick sometimes but not that quick. Lol. When I stopped, it re-set itself and everything went great the rest of the day. Then last weekend, I was cruising along at what I thought was 45mph and my partner behind me informed me at the next beer stop, I was actually cruising at around 60-70mph. Hopefully, they can fix it this week. Also, they are going to adjust my emergency brake, it doesn't hold at all.

Just Semantics here, But its a parking brake... Also i would have them tighten it so they just hold... Too tight and you'll be replacing pads soon...

I have found that the parking brake cable does a lot of stretching and needs constant adjustment in the beginning of ownership.
It should hold on the 4th click down. Always pushing way down adds more stretching to the mix.

I park in gear and adjust my parking brake when needed. Adjusting is very easy to do.

Try putting a light under the cover. The little bit of extra heat and resulting convection air currents do wonders for condensation from humidity.

Everything is fixed!!

I guess I should of got back to everyone sooner, My dealer fixed all my problems, they completely replaced the speedometer because it had a internal problem. They adjusted my emergency brake and haven't had anymore problems.
