should I buy the extended warranty

I always get ESP I dont like surprises on the road and it has paid off on ALL my bikes since 88, Their is no copay @ my local dealer now

My first Harley was a 88 Sportster. I didn't start buying the ESP until my 5th Harley a 2010 Limited because of all the problems I had with the previous ones. I can afford it, I'm not a mechanic and it gives me great piece of mind when riding, especially on my long trips and riding in foreign countries.

I say if you can afford it, buy it. Don't listen to all the mechanically inclined people that tell you not to.

I ride at least 12K a year and it's worth it to me. If you only ride 1K a year I would say you don't need it.
