What gas mileage should I expect

Planning on doing a Champion straight axle trike conversion to my 93 Harley FLHS.

Most riding is back roads or highways touring and cruising, not much freeway. Averaging 40 - 47 mpg now, depending on speeds. Basic stock 80" motor with mild cam and stock 5 speed transmission.

What gas mileage should I expect to get on a trike?

Thanks

Uphill BAD, Downhill GOOD !

Between 15% and 20% less than the two-wheeler.

I get a pretty steady 34 to 36 running a S&S carb. Ride two up half the time, wife small so effect of mileage is not very much. Nice choice by the way love my FLHS..
