Shifting CLUNK!

Got 600 miles on my new TG and have quite a clunk when shifting, up or down. Also, bike lurches forward a little when going into 1st gear when stopped. Feels like clutch is dragging a little. Was hoping it would get better with miles, but hasn't changed. Any suggestions or nothing abnormal?

A clutch adjustment will go a long way towards solving some of your problems. Another issue is when you pull the clutch in the plates normally stick together which will make the bike or trike give a little jump when you put it in 1st gear. Sometimes just letting it warm up a tad bit before putting it in gear will help release them, or rocking it a tad with the clutch pulled in.

I would also drain the primary fluid to get ride of the initial clutch wear material from breaking in your trike. Another good fluid to switch to for the transmission is Redline Heavy Shockproof. Looks like Pepto Bismol but is great stuff. Been using it for several years now and have noticed my trans is smoother and quiet
