I am a new member and am considering triking my Triumph Rock 3. Any one done this before, if so any recomendations?

No, but I have decided if I build another trike it will be built on a Rocket 3. It would I believe make for the ultimate Trike and looks to be a straight forward build ( famous last words ) :NZ:

+1 ...I have seen one this side, and have decided that my next project would be a Rocket trike...good luck and I am sure you will find what you need out there.

Ginnal in the UK do a nice conversion..Grinnal R3T trike

I am sure there are others in your area...

I used to own a 2006 Rocket III Classic. I ended up buying a 2010 Triglide, so I sold the Rocket to my Nephew since he wanted it so badly. If I still had it, I would have already Motortriked it by now. I miss 100 ft/lbs of torque off idle and the mid-11s bone stock. Good luck. You will definitely own the freeways and straight-a-ways!!!!

I don't think anybody is doing kits except motortrike-but they are not a DIY kit. Last I saw the kit ran around 8995.00. There was one on ebay a few months back that I bid on-it was a 2006, yelow in color and a sweet looking sunbeotch. The seller thought it was gold plated- bidding stopped at 13750.00 on it, he wanted 20K.

$13k and change was about right. HUGE depreciation driving one off the showroom floor.

We have one here in oz. Owner purchased the rocket brand new and had engine issues that required a complete rebuild.

then he triked it. All I can say is that he ended up triking a Honda Valkerie and that trikes sweet 6 cylinder was much more desirable to him.

That's all I know.
