In 2010 I bought a csc goldwing trike thinking it would help. It did but within 6 month's I was back on 2 wheels. I felt I wasn't ready for 3 wheels yet.
In 2014 my health went sour so I bought another goldwing roadsmith trike in Oct of 2014. I really like this a lot. I sold my cvo street glide so all I had for 2 wheels was a 05 super glide with forwards and a 2010 with forwards. So I was on the trike all the time, digging
It.
I put a set of mids on the super glide. Almost like old times. Light, handles very good, and with way above average power.
Problem is I'm thinking of selling a trike. I also have a freewheeler. Cool trike but not so good for trips. I think I'm making a mistake. Winter us close by and for the past 3 years my health got a lot worse and not getting much better in the summer.

I would sell the Freewheeler and one of the bikes and keep one trike and one bike. Your health probably isn't going to improve much and it will certainly deteriorate with age so the trike will be used most in the long run.

I'm in the same boat; a two wheeler and a Roadsmith trike. The Roadsmith will be the last one leaving the garage.

Hope you can keep enjoying two wheels for a while longer.

Go with the gold wing. The Freewheeler was designed to be a local bar hopper. ( Facts is Facts) Don't think your gonna be doing that. Face it, we ALL get old. It's the law of the land. Some of just take longer the get there than others. Be happy for enough good health to be able to ride a comfortable trike and run with it as long as you can.

We took a ride on the free and road around 300 miles one way. Stayed the night. Took our time getting there with lots of stops. Not much of a problem. Coming home we were on a tight schedule so only one stop. It took us 2 days to get over it. Both of us was hurting prety bad.
The Goldwing we stop because some one else needs fuel. We have rode 250 miles none stop with no problems. Insurance has gotten costly now so something needs to go. I agree the free is my choice to sell. We do enjoy it for local rides.
So if you know some one the free is for sale 4,000 miles with dk comfort lift, fulsac cvo baffles, gps hd mount, lrs 20 inch windshield, luggage rack, double memory foam in seat.

It sucks getting old but the alternative is worse. I wish you well in whatever you choose to do.
