Reversed rear Elite 3

Folks....while I don't post often, I look in here pretty regularly. I converted my '07 Ultra using a Hannigan kit. It's about time for a new front tire and I found a number of suggestions here. What I didn't see was any comment on using a rear Dunlop Elite 3 in the appropriate size (MT90-16) reversed on the front. I loved E3s when I was on two wheels. Anyone have any experience with the above setup?

I haven't done one yet, but on here, & a lot of other forums there are a lot of people doing just that. Not all with the E3's but almost all the other tires including radials. All with good reports so far.
Can't hurt, give it a try.

Tires are tested to go in the direction they are sold to go in. You probably won't have a problem but if anything happens you are exposing yourself to potential liability. For this reason I wouldn't do it.
