reverse do You Really need it

If you have bad knees get the best invention since sliced bread, mechanical reverse! I use it more this year than last year and will more next..:xzqxz:
 
If I'm not mistaken the reverse motor is basically just a small starter motor which should be able to be rebuilt at any place that works on electric motors for a fraction of the cost of a new motor ($1300) from Harley. That being said if mine goes out I'll be going with the Manuel reverse kit.

The reverse motor [Hitachi] on the Tri-Glide is a high torque slow turning heavy duty electric motor, Not a starter motor, And you would think any rebuilder can rebuild it, I had 3 rebuilders say no till i found one that did..That was about two years ago' Maybe things have changed since then..:Shrug:
