Trying to remove lowers, but not sure how they come off. I see the 3 bolts not sure how to get top half of lower off to get to top 2 bolts??
Im sure it is simple if you know how.

Just installed a set of lowers on my trike today. Open the leather cover and there are two nuts to remove and the fairing halves will separate (bolts are attached in the fairing so you just remove the nuts). Then remove the bottom clamp and it comes off the crashbar.

I agree that design that simple is not usually the Harley way, but in this case simple works.

I did the same job couple days ago for the first time. Easy, Loner was right on target just make sure too watch for nuts and washers when they come off. 7/16 wrench and torque, not sure what size.
