removeing lowers

I just went and purchased a set of soft lowers.. this way got them rolled up in the trunk, and can attach or remove them in minutes..

That's what I did. Soft Lowers work pretty much as well as the plastic ones.

On the '11 I removed the lower fairings and rear speakers the first day. Never put them back on....just used the soft lowers when it was cold or sustained rain/snow.

On the '14 we can't remove the lowers...lol, we did not remove the rear speakers either.

I have read a couple home garage test results....they both showed that in hot weather the lower fairings pushed more air over the engine and kept it a little cooler with them ON than with them removed.
