Rampage Lift For Trikes on Pick Up Truck

Has anyone bought one of these or heard how they work getting a trike on and off of a pickup truck? Motorcycle Trailer, Motorcycle Trailers, Motorcycle Accessories,Motorcycles, cargo trailer, pull behind, motorbike Harley Davidson, for sale Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki,Suzuki, Ducati, save money on Gas Fuel, trailers for ATV, Quads,Jetski, snowmobile, ut

At the present time we pull a open aluminum trailer that is set up for hauling a Bike and Trike. With a F-150 rated for towing 9200 lbs, but with me going to ride the second trike more we need to make some changes. Easiest change is get a 24 foot trailer and set it up for hauling two trikes. But would like to look at some other less costly options first. This option would be load the Trike on pickup and load the other trike on the trailer we know have. When not using the rampage lift it can be stored on trailer.

Thanks For Your Help or Advice.

I just measured my 96 1500 with a lehman trike kit and a four and a half degree rake kit it is just a tad over nine feet long, even if you have a eight foot bed you are going to have to keep the tail gate down and if you have one of the shorter beds ,you are going to be out of luck.
You need to measure the total length of your trike.
I know there are several good units out there like you are talking about but since I have no experence with any of them I can not give you any advice on which one is best.
Another thing is I would be sure to measure the distance from the back of your truck to the front of the trailer with the tail gate down.
I am not sure I would want to pull any trailer with the tail gate down, because if you have to make any real sharp turns you could end up with the tail gate hitting the trailer as well as your trike doing the same thing. So I would do a lot of measureing before you decided what you want to do.

Nelson, I have a Rampage mounted in my long bed 96 Dodge 2500. I bought it when I was still riding 2 wheelers. Loaded by bike before I converted it to a trike. Worked very well. When I went to trikes I made a trike rear plate much like Rampage sells and loaded my daughter 97 GW with CSC conversion. Yes it does stick out a little so I have one of those ABS plastic tailgates that is easily removed. It worked well and rode well. The only thing that looked like it would be tight would be the rear of the trike between the bed sides. Only had 2 couple of inches each side at the gate opening. The issue of removing the Rampage when not in use I do not tackle. Mine stayes in. You could rig it to be removed but it is heavy but it could be done.
