Radio with SCV???

I was wondering if anyone knows of a stereo radio that has Speed Compensated Volume (SCV) that works on a Stallion? SCV increases the volume as the ambiant noise of the engine rises, and decreases as the ambiant noise decreases. It would be handy on a Stallion (or any motorcycle for that matter) because of huge sound differences between sitting at a stop light and traveling down the highway at 55. I have one in my Corvette and it works great.

Friar would it work even if you installed one? With the radio in the trunk it is kind of away from the engin and other noise sources. Just a though because there are a couple of Sony radio that have them and should fit in the location.

Actually, it doesn't matter where the radio is located because it goes off the engine RPMs. When the engine reaches a certain RPMs the radio volume automatically increases, then decreases as the engine slows down. I would be interested in knowing which Sony radios have this if you have any more information. Thanks!

Friar, my 1995 Goldwing and my 1986 had that feature that your making reference too. It was called AVC (automatic volume control) and it was produced by Honda. You may want to check that out, it worked very well.
