somehow I lost a couple of the screws that hold the outer faring on my 2011 Triglide, does anybody know what size I need to order? the local auto parts has nothing and the Harley dealer is 2 hours away

I like the looks of thatYes, on your 2011 the lower fairings can be removed.
Here is a photo of our 2011 Tri Glide with the lower fairings removed, and with the engine guard powder coated black.

On 2014 and newer Tri Glides they cannot be removed because they house the radiators for the Twin Cooling.

got them off, that wasn't so hard
That, or you can carry soft lowers with you and if you run into cold or wet weather, you can put them on in less than 5 minutes.Ebay has the quick connect kit for 23 dollars. reviews say it works fine
