What are the major differences between the Cobra XL and the Viper kits. Thank you

The Cobra was designed to match the 01-10 style and the Viper, 12-up. The Cobra has more of a rounded trike and different styled floorboards along with the license plate mounted in the center of trunk door. The Viper has a more flat styled trunk door with angled upper to match the newer styled wings and the license plate mounts much lower under the trunk lid. They also have different styled taillights. Also the Viper can have the Passenger Comfort anti roll bar installed as an option which I don't think the Cobra can. FWIW, I liked the Viper styling more and had my 2007 converted with the Viper.

Apparently I was wrong. The Passenger Comfort ARB can be intalled as an option on either one.

Just wanted to make sure everyone is clear.

pwhoever is correct and made a nice summary so I will just add a couple of things.

Under the skin the Cobra and Viper are identical and mechanical options are the same for both.

Yes the passenger comfort ARB can be installed on both.

The difference is in the body and body accessories.

The Cobra will fit motorcycle years 2001 to 2009.

The Viper will fit motorcycle years 2001-Current.

The Viper has a slightly larger trunk and trunk opening.

The decision mostly comes down to which one you like the looks of the best.
