Good day from Gold Hill, Oregon. I have joined TT because I recently (3 months ago) found and purchased an '08 Stallion in Pearl White #330 with only 17,000 miles on the west coast. I had quit riding years ago because of my shoulders needing replacing and any movement with elbows away from the body spells excruciating pain.

With this Stallion though and with the steering wheel it makes it so I can drive by the bottom of the steering wheel and still keep my elbows against my body. NO PAIN! What a great ride. I had to take the front tire off to get the valve stem replaced on the wheel. It was a learning experience. Other than that, I have put on about 600 miles with nothing but a smile on my face.

An instant "celebrity" anywhere you go. All you Stallion owners know exactly what I am talking about. I am currently looking for a dust cover that fits over the castle nut on the front axle. Was missing when I bought it and would like to get another. Other than that this Stallion is in premier condition. Wife has decided she doesn't like riding (feels unsafe to her?) so I may ride this for the summer and maybe contemplate selling?

I will post pic's of this beauty before too long. Thanks for the welcome to your wonderfully informational forum. I hope we Stallion owners can help each other out with information and possibly a parts outlet. Thanks again and happy riding. Be safe!

welcome Buddy glad you found something that al1ows you to get out there. There is a Stallion section on this web site. There are several owners still active here. So when you need help post under the Stallion section for best results.

I appreciate all of the kind words from everyone on this site. I have spent a few hours reading all sections and it really shows the professionalism and gentlemanly manner in which it is run. Is my '08 Stallion based on the '04 or '07 Ford Ranger? Maybe they are the same? Would really like to confirm with no doubt in case I'm on the road and need to know that sort of stuff for repair. I appreciate you taking the time to give me the correct answer....Buddy#11

100% 2007 Ford Ranger. The transmission is for a 4 x 4 with a custom rear tail shaft made for the Stallion. You will need know that to get the proper gasket for the pan if you change the trans fluid. They use a different pan and filter in the 4 x 4 auto transmission.

You're going to love it. It is going to be a learning experience, but if you enjoy working on your own ride this is the best. I have 65000 smiles on mine now and just got back from a 2000 mile trip. Rick
