WELL FOR A YEAR NOW I'VE HAD THE ONLY STALLION IN
TOWN ( FLORENCE, SC), BUT AS OF THE LAST FEW DAYS SOMEONE ELSE HAS BOUGHT THEM A 2008 STALLION....

I LEARNED THIS AS I WAS AT A FORD DEALERSHIP GETTING MY STALLION SERVICED...LOW AND BEHOLD IN THE NEXT SERVICE BAY, ANOTHER (RED) STALLION.....WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO.....LOL

I TALKED TO THE OWNER, AND TOLD HIM TO STUDY UP ON THE STALLION BECAUSE HE'LL BE BUSY EXPLAINING THE INS AND OUTS OF THIS WORK OF ART THAT HE NOW OWNS......AND TOLD HIM THAT "TRIKETALK" WILL BE HIS FAVORITE PLACE TO SEE A PERCENTAGE OF STALLION OWNERS, AND HOT TIPS TO KEEP IT ON THE ROAD....(DON'T KNOW IF THIS TOWN IS READY FOR 2 STALLIONS)....LOL.......BUT THE FORD DEALERSHIP WAS.....

I PURCHASED THIS STALLION FROM A SEARCH ON THE WEB....FOUND THAT A DEALERSHIP IN MARYLAND WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE A 2010 DELIVERED TO THEM , SO I PUT DOWN A DOWN PAYMENT TO CLAIM THE STALLION "MINE".....THE WINGS OVER THE SMOKIES IN NC HAD A SHOW COMING UP, AND THEY DROPPED MY STALLION OFF THERE . AND FLETCHER, NC IS WHERE I PICKED IT UP....
I AM IN MYRTLE BEACH ALL THE TIME...SEARCHING FOR SEAFOOD....
I KNOW THAT I LOVE THIS RIDE SO MUCH THAT IF I GOT RID OF THIS TRIKE , I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE WITHOUT HESITATION...

I TALKED TO THE OTHER STALLION OWNER, AND HE PURCHASED HIS 08 MODEL FROM SOMEWHERE OUT WEST, AND HE DROVE IT TO SC....I THINK HE SAID KANSAS.........THAT WAS A NICE RIDE, FOR THE 1ST TIME RIDER....ANYWAY, KEEP IN TOUCH...

I am in Columbia and just got a 2008 Candy Apple Red in July.
There are none over here and yes you get a lot of questions.
My wife was sitting and waiting for me to come out of KMart
and when I came out several women were talking to her about
the Stallion and yes she is updated on all the info.

i know what you mean on the questions folks come up with.....i know the question before it comes out of their mouths.....all my riding friends have the correct answers about the stallion from the answers i been saying since i got this machine....family and friends now are trained on the Q & A of it all.....love this machine.....

I'm from Missouri and it's been fun with all the questions. My wife and I ride with two other couples (Goldwing riders) and they have decided that if we want to get away from the gas stations they needed to start learning more about the Stallion so they could answer the questions. We've got it down to 15 minutes for a stop to fill up.

I would love to trade my goldwing for on of the stallions, but, It is very hard to get on in my area. They are only going to manufacture about 150 units this next year I am told. I know they want to keep it as much american made as possible but with todays manufacturing how much american made can it be. I have a 2009 GL1800, one of the last ones made in the US. I have decided if I get a new trike I want it to be an american one. Maybe they will find another engine and build more next year.

They have anpther engine all ready selected. 2.5 Ford they are still going throught the adaption phase. They are doing the 150 units in between.

I wonder that if the 2.3 is going to be replaced with a 2.5, is the stallion going to be faster? Or is the weight going to be more, making the mpg lower.....

I think the 4:10 final drive is the limiting factor so I doubt it will be nuch faster. Stallion also states in their specs that top speed is electronically limited to 119 mph.

We attended the GWRRA Mississippi District Rally in Tupelo this past weekend and saw 3 Stallions there. Thought it was kind of ironic to see 3 Stallions and no 2012 Goldwings there.
