Hi all, my name is Michelle. I am a soon to be new rider. My husband had a custom trike when I met him and I rode on the back for about five years until he switched to a Harley Sportster. He has now upgraded to a electraglide Ultra Classic and has passed his Sportster on to me. I recently took my rider traing course and made the decision 2 wheels are not for me so we will be trikin the sportster out. We are going back and forth between the Voyager kit and a full conversions kit. Money is not a huge factor but is somewhat so we are trying to do our homework before making the final decision. Any input would be welcomed.

I look forward to posting here with you all.

Welcome to Trike-Talk..:wave4:......And in my humble opinion , Go with the full conversion...Frankenstein...

Thank you...yes I like the frankenstein kits, but doesn't appear that I can keep my saddlebags. Wondering what to do about storage with that kit

Trade the sporty on a Freewheeler!

Welcome to Trike Talk, storage a consideration? it on something that will. The reality is you will never be happy unless you have storage space it is needed so... New Ride on the horizon... :Shrug:Just joking although that may be a solution good luck on whatever you decide. Welcome to the three wheel world. ride safely Fred

Hey Michelle,

:welcome: to Trike Talk from South Florida.

Please keep us posted on your conversion decison.ThumbUp

Howdy Michelle :wave4: here's my :twocents:

Depending on what your looking for how about trading in the sportster on a Freewheeler?...Storage and trike conversion done!

I have had a couple of sportster's myself and like the handling of them. But for long distance runs and comfort the Freewheeler will be a better choice.

Good luck with your decision, lot's of good information here to help you along.

Thank you everyone, yes definitely leaning more towards full conversion.

I would love a Freewheeler!...that is definitely my style preference just can't afford it. Don't really think we would get enough on trade for the sportster to make the payments doable. The way I will be funding the conversions has zero interest so the payments will be very doable with everything else we have going on
