Newbie from Central Florida Introduction

Hello all.

I'm having fun riding my Tri-Glide but the damn Reverse circuit breaker keeps tripping.

Been riding since 1958 (on my Dad's Panhead when I was a tyke).

Found this site while searching for a service manual.

Welcome to Trike Talk

Your motor for reverse ( a stater motor basically in the back above the rear sprocket)

is probably drawing TOO much current

Welcome to trike talk....:wave4:

The reverse motor is just an assist [reverse] motor, If you are trying backup a hill, ramp or an incline it will trip the breaker...

Welcome from North Ga. :wave4:

When using the reverse it's good to not hold the button down, but to hit it monetary on and off.

Welcome aboard Moses. The breaker could possibly be getting weak. But like others have said it will not backup hills and always think about overload when using it. They can be temperamental but when you need it it helps

Welcome to the forum I would have a good starter shop check it out not hard to get off. Have it checked so nice when working properly don't go through the misery of breaker popping. Welcome to the group :wave4:travel safely Fred
