Glad to become a member here. My name is Fred and I have been riding a trike about a year. I ride a Honda GL1800 with a Lehman Monarch II conversion. Pretty much stock at the time. Love it and my wife was ecstatic when I bought it. She hated the two wheeler we had and loves the new bike (actually a 2005 GL1800 with a 2010 kit). We absolutely LOVE the Texas Hill Country some of the best riding in the country, especially the Three Twisted Sisters near Leakey Texas. Come visit this part of Texas. I am retired US Navy Mastercheif (hence user name). We will both retire this year and next year plan on traveling to Rolling Thunder, maybe Ameriade and Laconia. We are buying a smalltoy hauler to take the trike along with ur two dogs on trips - family has to be there. Take care and ride safe.

Hi, Fred!!! So glad to have you here with us!! Next step is to join Trike Owners International, a sister club to TrikeTalk.com. No dues, no officers, just trikers who live fairly close who like to ride. We have well over 100 members in Texas alone, and are gearing up for a get-together later this year. (Maybe close to you!! Stay tuned!)

You can register here on the forum - look for the 'Trike Owners International' thread - there's a registration form there. Once you submit the form, the info gets forwarded to me and you're a member - just that simple!!

Hope you'll get up this way before too long - we're about 45-50 minutes northwest of Austin. Let us know and we'll sit down and chat - John's retired Army, and y'all can swap tall tales!!

Greetings to ya'll from the wilds of west Texas - Midland!
We too have the Lehman Monarch II on a '08 Gold Wing - our first trike and just love it!
Hope to see you at the Texas Trike Reunion at Kerrville on April 4,5,6. There is a member on this board who has posted it by name of George Lewis from Boerne, TX.
We take our family (2 poodles) with us also - in the motorhome and pull the trailer behind. Glad you joined - this is a very informative and friendly website! Carla & Jim
