New to trike

AriNV :welcome:. As a longtime Spyder Ryder I think that a Spyder is a great place to start. And as your ability to ride grows it will grow with you. With the Ryker, while a good and fun ride, can only take you so far and you will outgrow it. If you aren't ready for the an RT look at the runabout F3 basic. I think you will really enjoy the Spyder, I know I have. At 77 it keeps me in the wind.

I have to agree the Ryker is a bare bones stripped down trike. I took a Can Am 3 wheeled training class on a 900 Ryker. It almost felt like a toy compared to the Spyders I did demo rides on. I like a full windshield, trunk a other comfort items. IMO, spend the extra money now and get what you want the Spyder. A long test ride should confirm this for you. Welcome to the best trike forum. Enjoy the ride.
