I guess I didn't catch this earlier but I have seen it mentioned that there is a new engine that has been decided on for the Stallion. Any idea of what engine it is (I have heard it is a 2.5L) and is there anything out official by TMS on it?
And I guess the next question would be how much HP and torque are we talking about.
And I disagree, in a nice way of course, with one comment that said the Stallion did not need any more power than it already had. The Triumph Rocket III (Standard, Classic or even the new Roadster) already had 140 to 147 HP and up to 154 ft.lbs of torque. That is the kind of power I like dealing with and one of the reasons that attracted me to the Stallion. But if you have a newer engine (presumably a little heavier) with a possible different type of transmission (again possibly a little heavier) with the passenger capacity and luggage in the trunk and the possibility of pulling a trailer...it wouldn't hurt my feelings if another 20 or 30 HP and more torque was added to the package...it may even help with the mileage.
Anyway just wanted to know.
