my new riding buddy...

Grandchildren are the reward for never KILLING your teenagers!! You enjoy that little one Papaw and teach him right.

My granddaughter is now 12 and she has riden with me since she was 4 yrs old. It was a day of excitement for her and her classmates when I showed up on the last day of school with her riding stuff, (safety), and picked her up. She has so much fun and I enjoy every moment. Jim

Does he have his learners permit yet? Does he prefer dino oil or synthetic? Is he gonna start out on only two wheels or jump right to the big rigs?

Can't wait until he is a little older, it should be fun.....our side of the family are on the short side, I'm just 5-7, my wife is just about 5' even so our son ended up being shorter too. When he was about 14 or 15 I took him to a parking lot and at the time I had an old Ford F-150 pickup with a 5 speed and taught him how to drive even though he bearley reached the pedals.

His grandfather had him on a tractor and an old D5 track machine when he was even younger and today he has his Class A CDL but doesn't drive for a living. It was part of his schooling for diesel mechanics.

He still likes to drive bigger trucks and prefers standards so I'm sure my grandson will follow in his footsteps. Actually my son was the reason I got back into riding after 23 years of being off a bike. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a small dirt bike in a few years....
