Is there a good and easy travel guide to follow to get the most out of Route 66 ?

I read that it's been cut up and rerouted so much that it's easy to get lost unless

you have good and up to date directions, what direction is best ? East to West, or?

Great Plate I live about 5 miles from Rt.66. Most of the Biker Bars and D&L Leather are all on Rt. 66 here in Amarillo:clapping:

I enjoy seeing personalized plates and it's a way to be entertained when stopped in traffic trying to figure out the message. No guessing with yours though. That's a great one. My Florida bike is a Sportster and I was surprised when my non personalized (luck of the draw) plate was handed to me and read Mile 42. Of course I had to ride along Highway 70 near me to take the attached photo.
