Was up early at 0400 , why .... my mind was working overtime. So I fired up the coffee pot , sitting in the quiet room , pondering ;

Dad met Mom , he the driving instructor , her the student. Marriage and living with her parents. Bingo... I arrived. Our first and only home bought in 1950. I tried to be a kid , dad wanted me to be a Sheldon Cooper. High school, 1 year at private school , 9th grade. Got thrown out. Graduated high school. At the DMV for permit. Passed road test on dads 1963 Oldsmobile rocket 88 with 3 on the tree (rare). Uncle Sam owned me for a while. After being tromitized , dad wouldn’t let me be me. Got married to leave the home nest. Worked for 35years dealing with John Q Public . Produced 2 kids , one died , wife died . Took in son-in-law’s mother to live with and try to stay 1/2 sane after being alone with 3 dogs for a year. Retired at age 61.

So after time machining backwards , and getting frustrated over what I could do years back , and not be able to do now can frustrate and make one miserable. At least I’m not stuck in a bed with tubes jammed in every orface of my body , or in a wheelchair . Golden years my .......

Certified "pound puppy." Became a foster child followed by adoption. Marine Corps out of high school, '63/'68. Earned 4 yrs of college credit while in the corps. Then, Stanford law, class of '74. Chose a career in law enforcement much to my parents dismay. Walked away from that after 22 yrs. It was time to turn the page. Went into commercial trucking as an owner operator. Second heart attack and subsequent surgery put an end to that. It was time to get out anyway. Way too many restrictions made it hard to earn good money. Been retired now going on 4 years. :clapping: Now I harass the motoring public by doing the speed limit in the right lane. :D My all black Ford Explorer gives them fits. :laugh:

I would hope at least you remember to turn off your turn single light's so as not to further harass the working motoring stiffs.....:laugh:...

Have 2 sisters mom and dad both worked dads was a tool and die man till he was forced to retire due to back problems. And 6 surgeries. I tried to join military that's when I found out at 17 I had high blood pressure. I have been a carpenter. Machinist a welder and have been a auto mechanic for 40 yrs. Someday I would like to retire😁 in between all that married had 2 sons well 1 son 1 stepson. That I think of as my own. Sold my house to take care of my aunt. Then moved out of there to take care of the in-laws. Am trying to get back on a trike maybe someday the stars will line up so I can get another one. Along the way had both hips replaced heart attack almost died from a virus in late 2020 need a knee replaced and both shoulders need surgery. Come to think about it I'm pretty beat up wish I wouldn't have wrote all this down. Lol
