Motortirke Brake Question

I noticed that my rear breaks were no holding, almost note. I checked the fluid which was a little low but not too much. I pulled the wheels off and found the left side wheel cylinder was leaking. i ordered a new one and replaced it. After bleeding the breaks, now when I apply the break it won't release. The peddle comes up but the breaks are still holding. The only way to get them to release is to bleed the pressure. I am stumped. Any ideas? What am I missing? It's like the master cylinder is not releasing the pressure.

Sticking master cyl?Pedal adjusted a bit high and not letting the piston all the way out?Pedal not coming all the way up?Just a few thoughts.
