I am sorry to ask this question as probably 1500 others have asked. But, I have searched and searched and can't find the answer. Does a michelin active pilot rear tire fit the front rim of a 1500. and if it don't, what high milage tire does?

Again, sorry :gah:for the possible duplication, but thanks for the info:wave4::wave4:

My mpa is mouunted on the front aheel that came on the bike.Mounted in reverse25000 and change on it now.GOOD LUCK! RIDE SAFE

Also, used by many folks, is the Bridgestone Battlax BT45 (such as HERE). Many sources available - ck around for best "deal". Be sure to get a "rear" tire in the proper "front" tire size (130/70-18).

Thanks guys. Ordered my Michelin Pilot active yesterday. (Rear tire). will mount it in reverse mode. I feel quite comfortable with this now with all the info you have given. Great shop, charged only $121 for the tire, $49.95 for putting it on. Looking good.
