I'm trying to find the thread/post about modifying the lighted hand control switches to work on a trike. I saw it somewhere, I believe on this forum, but didn't pay much attention at the time.
Does anyone have the answer?

Something to do with clipping off some tab.
I have a 2014 TG

Boy, I wish I had lighted switches on my 11 T/G, Then maybe:Shrug: every time I go for the hi beams I won't blow the horn....

The post you are referring to was on HdForum and it was posted by Namvet1966.
If you are also on that forum, his post related to the PTT switch should be easy to find.

GaryD,
I think the ones your looking for are eglidegoodies.com, scroll down to LIGHTING & SAFETY, then scroll down till you see Fairing Rocker Switch Kite, below Fairing Rocker Switch is LED Handlebar Switch Kit.
I've installed the Fairing Rocker Switch Kit about three years ago and have had good luck with them. I'm planning to order the LED Handlebar Switch some time soon.

That's the post I was referring to. Thanks for the help in locating it.
Sure wish Harley would come out with a lighted switch for the TG's.

Good golly, glad I'm not the only one that does that :AGGHH:

I got so paranoid that I wouldn't hit any switch at all at night. :D

Just get the lighted switches from HD.....pop off the non moving reverse tab on them, you will see small tabs on each side that prevents the tab from rocking, shave them off and pop it back on. Remove non lighted switch housing from handle bars and replace with the new ones. The inside of all switch housings are the same, same plug in...etc. The lighted ones are for a bagger, so reverse button does not rock but still is the same inside, the rocker switch is the ONLY thing diff. Mine are still working great.
