Handlebar grip on left side is loose

My left side grip is twisting. How are they put on so they don't move?

Mine did the same thing about two months ago. Remove the turn signal switch housing screws and twist the grip off the bar, clean the bar with alcohol and some fine sandpaper and any old adhesive in the grip you can get. Squirt 4 small beads of adhesive (any good adhesive will work) inside the length of the grip, twist the grip back onto the bar so the lip of the grip fits into the channel of the switch housing, retighten screws and let set for about 24 hours.

Or, remove the grip and clean it up. Clean the handlebar. Get some Golf Grip Dual-Sided Tape. Wrap a couple of layers of this stuff around the handlebar. Use naphtha (cigarette lighter fluid) to wet the tape and push the grip over it. Now, just leave it alone for a few hours (overnight is better). Your grip is now fixed.

I have used the hair spray trick for years. Wet when sprayed allows easy to install and position and dries fast. Later if you want to remove easier than other glues use WD40 to remove
