If I might be so nosy, how did your friend Jim pass? I've been meaning to ask that but always forget. If you don't want to say anything on the open forum, I understand.
I'll bet either he fell asleep or had a heart attack. I've seen it happen both ways around here too many times. Before I was in this line of work, I was a street cop for quite awhile. Saw my share of accidents. Enough to last me a lifetime.I don't know the reason behind it, but on his way home in his Jeep, he ran off the road and hit a parked tractor trailer. His death was instantaneous.
Normal is subjective, ya know. :qpnmt:Somehow I find it highly ironic that this is listed under the heading Normal Threads ........![]()
I'm wiped out by about 10:30 unless I'm on the trike traveling, last week being the classic example.Another slow night around here. You would figure on a Saturday night everybody would want to stay home and play around on the forum.
You on central or mountain time? Depending on which, you may still be awake when I come in at 11:30 edt.I'm wiped out by about 10:30 unless I'm on the trike traveling, last week being the classic example.
I can already tell this pool is gonna be a money pit. Chemicals alone will eat you alive!Did the pool matinence thing yesterday. H2O temp is 75* . Tried to cover with bubble wrap solar cover and ti just ripped apart due to age and probably chlorine. They do work, but don't last more than 4 yrs. Another $200 to dish out.

We were going to go salt water, but the pool store told us it would void the liner warranty. Most of my friends with pools have converted them to salt water. Less maintenance and a lot cheaper.
Yup, I agree with this assessment. Will be asking questions real soon. If I ever have money again, I may just put in a mechanical reverse...of course I'll wait quite some time. No $$$ right now...or for a couple of years.Ask him why it tripped. Something ain't right. So I wouldn't feel stupid. Be different if you had been running it hard but just sitting there?????
Not much happening here on the forum tonight. Looks like all the carpets have been rolled up, and everybody's turned in.
Sitting on the front porch with the fam. Ceiling fan is going, wife lit some mini tiki torches to keep the bugs away. The only thing missing is a cold beer. Can't. Gotta go to work later.
We were beat after 8 hours on the ride to Quantico. Son and Daughter-in-law came over for a Father's day cookout when we got home. He gave me a 400 round box of .22 LR for Father's day.
Did you play your uke?
