Late nighters---unite!!!

$300. The woman acted like nothing had ever happened the next morning. Cat breeders are weirdos. (Hoping you're not a cat breeder :p)

No, we just have one. She turned 17 this August. She's getting old like me. She was having trouble jumping up onto the bed, so i put a box next to it. She can make it with two jumps, now. This was taken a couple years ago.

She's Beautiful!!

January 10th will be 3 years that Troubles passed. She was 19. She had tortoise shell coloring. We're a little crazy...we had her cremated, and her urn sits with her picture on a stand under our TV.

For the longest, I had a little memoriam to her in my signature area on that...ahem...other forum we both frequent.

And I just noticed that she's under a Christmas tree!! Troubles would plant herself under ours and would only come out to eat and lay on my wife's belly while she watched TV. Crazy girl!

Maybe not so crazy. I've been thinking of doing the same thing when.............
Mandy has been a blessing to me. We got her after my Dad passed.

The neighbor lady next door had her cats cremated. When SHE passed, she had them buried with her.

I think I'll try to go to bed fur :p awhile.

Count some sheep. Maybe I'll see you later if you get up to pee.

Oh, meant to tell you, we have pet steps so our dogs can get up on the bed with us.

I'm a Dog person, I did have a few cats over the years but they were outside cats..
Crazy as it might sound, I have the collars of all the dogs that i've had and pasted hanging in my Garage since the early 60's... And every once in a while i'll look at them and remerness.

Not crazy at all--it's human. Feeling loss for an animal is just like losing a member of the family. Having memorials to them is normal. I don't care what anybody says.

Just popping in to say HI before shutting down for the night. I've been rehearsing for a band gig tomorrow afternoon. Ought to be interesting. It's outside at an Alpaca farm. :xzqxz:
Supposed to be in the high 50's and breezy. Gonna have layers like riding and be ready for anything. Can't play with gloves on, though.

What do you play?

My father in law had a 1967 Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville model. He bought it brand spanking new.

What do you play?

Bass in the band. I also mess with guitar, mandolin, clawhammer banjo and uke. Here's one for you. about 190 miles South of 'ya.

The gig tomorrow is gong to be just the girl on guitar, the mandolin player and myself. To enter that contest, you had to have fiddle and banjo. We picked them up at the Convention.

Didn't mean for the video to show, just wanted the link. Do you know how to do that?

You don't put it in the video strip on the tool bar. Literally just post the link. I think.

Unfortunately I can't see it right now anyway because I'm on a gov't computer. I won't be able to see it until I get home in the morning.

Cat update...

Got the bejeezus bit and scratched out of me earlier this evening. I had it coming though. I caught her by the tail and picked her up. She still didn't do anything even then. I sat down with her and she started growling, then hissed. As I was trying to put her down, she scratched me on the wrist and bit my finger.

It looks like I've been grappling with a bear.

Just pulled the trigger on a 10" windshield from LRS. I have an 11" from them, but it is in my line of sight, and bugs the crap out of me.

Last time I ordered a 10" to start with, but called them to change it to the larger one before it shipped. Big mistake. Thought I would take advantage of the 70% off sale and rectify that.

Not too productive on the thread tonight. Nobody around. Hopefully not a harbinger of things to come.

I enjoy having people to chat with.

I'm talking about folks who are nite owls on the forum. If you're out there and want to chat, let's make this the place. And it doesn't have to be limited to trikes. We can talk about anything the mods don't kick us out for. :p

Normally, I'm here from 12am eastern to 7:30am eastern Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Anybody wanting to take up slack on my days off, feel free.

Yeah, I'm lonely. I'm taking a shot in the dark. :D

Later,
Scott
DAMN I wish this was on when I worked over nights at G.M. for 32.5 yrs. I don't think I would have gotten any more work done! I guess one of these nights when I can't sleep or there's nothing on the boob tube the wife and I watch. I should check in with you guys. Usually around midnight I hit the rack. Rick

Well, if you ever stop by, I'll be here. Or if you post at another time, I'll answer you...kinda like now. :)

Just had a girl from ESPN fantasy football mess up my Whole day on Thursday ! My whole family daughter's included play PIGSKIN PICK'EM on Espn. Well something went wrong and I couldn't get on to make my picks for Sundays games  So I called their Help line that night and some dude says I see what's wrong and I can fix it. COOL !! WRONG  Nothing again. So I call back in the morning and get this young girl. She says go to your settings and do this and this. Like a DUMBASS I do this and this. Tells me to check my E mail for my New password. Now I can't get any e mails because it's not working either. So I hang up on her and try to fix that myself. A couple of mins later I get that working with the Help of my wife. Because I'm ready to shoot this damn PC NOW! Ok that's up and running and everything is good. Now back to ESPN and I get this older lady. You can tell by their voice's. My wife says go get a cup of coffee and let me talk to her. Sure I can do that. But she has to talk to me so she says. :xzqxz:. She turns out to be so cool and fixes it all for me. AS I sit in the back round listening to my wife and her talk. My wife tells her that I have NO patience's at all when it comes to this stuff. ! ThumbUp Give me a wrench and I can fix it other wise call for help. So it's all fixed and everything seems to be ok. BUT then I try to get on one of my HD sites and it keeps kickin me off. WTF ?. So I get a hold of a close friend and ask him what I can do? Cause I can't get ahold of anyone on there to help me. He tells me that he'll get a hold of some one he kows that can help. OH WELL ! My wife and I take off to do some errands we had planned. Later last night he text me and says try this and we can get back on. OK I try it and THEN I see my DUMBASS mistake :cxtv:.. I thank them both for their help. But didn't tell them what I was doing wrong. And I'm not going to tell you guys either . But everything is cool. Made my picks last night and got on a couple of my BIKE sites . Funny thing thou. Nothing happened to me on here I got right on ThumbUp. Enough excitement for one day around here. Thanks for letting me share and get this off my chest. :clapping:Rick

We ALL make dumbass mistakes. Since you let the cat part way out of the bag, you've GOT to tell us now.
We can't live long enough to make all our own mistakes, we need help from others. Fess up. I might need a remedy for a senior moment some day.

Hello everybody....looks like I got some back reading to do.

Morning Scott, I probably won't be around too long. I've got a uke jam this morning at 10:00.

Had a good ride Friday. I picked my son up and he rode bitch over to the shop to pick up his Road-Glide. Then we went about 90 miles up to check out a 1982 full size Jeep he wanted for an organ donor for the one he has. Fooled around all day and got home after dark when the temperature dropped to the 40's. Still had fun hangin' out. He's 38 and we don't get much time together.

Where's your uke jam? Have you ever jammed with Mim?

I rode a little bit today myself. Went to a doctor's appt. Didn't get to ride nearly as far as you, but even a little bit not in a cage is better than none.

The whole problem can by summed up in two words:

Yer olde...

How do I know that? As soon as I hit a certain age, I couldn't get computers to do a DAMN thing I wanted 'em to. Put me on an old green screen and I can make it roll over and beg. Any computer from the last ten years, I'm lost.

Hey...come on here any time you feel like blowing off steam.

Well your right. Since I started to say it. I might as well tell the whole dumb ass story ! Well after a while when you don't have to log in on a couple of sites. It just takes you to it by clicking on. So I forgot that I changed my Handle from one name to another when we Moved to Arizona. But my old screen name kept popping up. So me NOT thinking right. Just kept clicking on the name coming up which was wrong. So after 5 tries I couldn't get on or get a hold of any one to tell them. Luckily I knew a guy pretty well on there to beable to text him and ask for his help. The mod on that site saw what I did and fixed it for me. THEN !!!! I saw my mistake. :AGGHH:... Know you know :D
