finally got around to putting the Kuryakyn hitch and trailer wiring on my triglide. I'm ready to start pulling the camper.

Got a question though to folks that may know.

I have arthritis in my thumbs so a lot of clutch work is painful. I have been following the threads on Rekluse clutches and research online.

Question is: Can you pull a trailer with the Rekluse clutch? Pros and cons anyone?

Check this out from Rekluse:

https://rekluse.com/support-docs/NP...arley-Davidson/193-6215A Riders guide HD.pdf

On page 2 section 3 entitled "Maintaining proper RPM for best performance" under the "Yellow Zone" it states: "There is no need to downshift while cruising in this range unless you are pulling a trailer or heavy load, riding uphill, or riding into the wind."

So based on that statement I would conclude it is OK but I'd check with Rekluse for further information.

BTW I too have arthritis (osteo, not rheumatoid) in my right thumb most especially. Meloxicam (generic name for Mobic) has done wonders. You may have tried it but if not it's worth a query to your doctor.
