Going back to my first Trike I have always installed the Kuryakyn passenger drink holder. The plus side is they look good and work good. The downside was they are priced well over $100, the tops will rust unless you polish them constantly, and the drink basket is a bummer to change out.

I recently took the whole thing off because I was either going to have to have it re-chromed or painted, plus the basket was ready for another change out. I was shocked at how rusted the inside of the arm framing was! It was solid rust. There was no way I was going to have this piece of junk metal redone and reinstall it.

I picked up a Ciro passenger drink holder in solid black. I have had one for the driver for over two years and it still looks brand new. With my discount at the Harley dealership, plus using cash to avoid the CC surcharge I got it for under $100.

Ciro quality is 100% better than Kury ever was. We stock and sell lots of Ciro & Goldstrike (the Goldwing Line) acessories and they are quality products.

I have the Ciro Big Ass holder on the front and the standard on the back,

The standard did not work for my Contigo coffee mug as it was too tight for me to get it in and out without too much distraction, so I changed to the Big A, although it is somewhat loose, I have never had any problems with the mug coming out of it.

I use one of the tall, tapered profile stainless, insulated, no handle mugs that was given to me by a TT member and it fits perfectly in my Ciro Big Ass cup holder.

Also Bob, one option for loose fitting mugs might be to get one of those thin drink koozies sold on Temu for $1.97 like the one smallest one pictured below. I have avoided Temu, thought they were pretty much just spam, but recently found out that Marge buys a lot of of cheap stuff there and it seems legit.

I really haven't seen the need for a Koozie. Even when I broadsided a deer at 45 MPH a couple years ago the coffee mug did not leave the cupholder. It did 10K of damage to the trike but after I removed the fender, I was able to ride it home with twisted forks and one of the lowers damaged.
I did get a Rake kit from you and upgraded the front suspension in the process.

Thanks
Bob

Bob, I obviously overestimated the term "somewhat loose":ROFLMAO:...

Deer strikes are unavoidable, I've hit several over the years. Seems like half the time if you put on the brakes it just gives them time to swivel around and run right back into your path. I do very much appreciate the TG Rake kit order! Are you enjoying it?

I am definitely enjoying the kit. That along with the 2+2 wide bars and the suspension upgrades I have made, has made it to where I have purchased my last trike. I will just keep rebuilding it until I can no longer ride.
It being like adding power steering is a true statement.

Thanks for all you and DK custom do to keep us informed and riding smooth.
