I have often wondered how long it would take for government to come up with mental stability as a means to gun control? Sure works as a get away with murder defense.

Hopefully it does not pass but with a Dem governor calling the shots it seems law abiding, gun owning, folks in Oregon will lose another constitutional right if she has her way...

All House Republicans, along with three Democrats, opposed the bill. The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action also opposed it.

^....As a possible knee-jerk reaction, a lone Senate Republican intro'd. the bill due to a personal family tragedy. We all feel badly for whatever happened to his kin, however going to this extreme is unlikely to bear fruit.
