HEY RUSS.. we are doing well and have made it to rapid city. heaps going on here, but squeezing in a few pics while dinner goes down.. we got cained in a storm this morning just out of Chamberlain but it fined up and we rode the badlands this arvo.
good to hear from you my friend.. elise says hi to you and mrs russ. (no haven't forgotten your names just unsure if you use them on here)

stayed the night in the dodgiest motel in albert lea. I didn't even get into the bed.slept fully clothed. the room was filthy and the carpark full of wino;s and bums. homies dancing around rusted out wrecked cars. teenage mums and uncared for kids. in the morning we met Keystone (another Top Bloke) and his sister for breakfast at a nice place and went for a ride around the lake. (thanks for the plates) we will catch up again at sturgis

When we visited the Corn Palace, we thought it to be the Worlds largest bird feeder.

heading out from chamberlain in the morning. we new we were heading into trouble. watching the sky and the lightning.

and then it hit. everything pulled off the interstate. we were lucky the trike has good brakes and that there was an exit right where we were. still we enjoyed the company of the other soggy riders huddled in the shelter in the rest area

we were told to count the billboards for wall drug on the way to Sturgis. but gave up at 17,000,000. when we got there we saw what you see in the countless adds, this building.. inside is cramped and crammed with rubbish you don't want and the staff were rude so we left. worth giving this place a miss. it will leave you more time for the fun to come.
