Foolish or not, I at times love a spirited ride providing the road conditions and traffic will allow. I'm not a big fan of trying to find top speed, I've been to 100 plenty of times. I've never owned a bike or trike that couldn't blow the 100 mph mark into the weeds, just never felt the need to go that far. For some sick reason my wife loves it when I pick the front end up on my 06 Ultra, she keeps hollering do it again
.
Lately I've enjoyed the cornering ability of my 2012 GL1800, if a corner suggest 45 mph I know I'm good for 60 or 65 with no sweat providing I have a good line of site through th corner.
