Was riding the river road (170) between Study Butte and Presidio (Big Bend Ranch Road) today and the temp reached 103 according to the trike thermometer, same indicated on a goldwing trike and a 17 CVO Ultra. Rode it hard! Stopped a couple of times and the fans never came on. Left my owners manual at home (duh). Seem to recall there is a way to manually activate to be certain they are operating properly. Stock except for cvo pipes with full sac 1.5 baffles. DK Customs tank lift and DK air wings. Anyone???

It has been hot, running about 20* above the norm for this time of the year. I just hope this is not the norm for the rest of the summer. Can't remember the year but not to many ago, we had 40+ days of continuous over 110*. Miserable summer. Jim

Yeah, it's not looking good over here near Dallas. Every time they predict rain it never happens here. Getting very dry. The new grass is struggling. Got a chance again this week but they've already reduced the percentage. Might be another drought year if it doesn't break soon. This is our rainy season and it isn't happening.

Yes, turn your bike on, don't start it, and roll the throttle half way and hold it. Takes a few seconds and the pump and both fans should come on. Put your hand down by the vents, it does push a little air.

Thanks for the information. They are working.
