2018--10.jpg2018--11.jpg2018--17.jpg2018--18.jpgIt is a 2018 harley triglide, I'm not the best camera man around but I think you can get the drift, these are from my cell phone which is a old one, black is and has been a favorite color of mine forever, but as years went on I switch to red trucks and my 2016 triglide was a 2 tone red, I did find out why I switch to other colors, when I got home it was dusty, guess I will have to live with it LOL:D:D

Very nice looking, congrats! They do stay dirty, but that's the price you pay for the fastest color! :Dorag:

Make sure you check all the fluid levels & air pressures.

Congrats on your new ride! :clapping:

I know you gotta be enjoying that M8 torque. :D

I was surprised at the power it had, goose the throttle and off you go, more go than the 103 on my 2016 and I was happy with it, now just got to get around to putting on your lift kit that I bought here awhile back, not sure if I will do it now or wait until spring, my old bones don't take to cold very good and laying on concrete won't help it out. I was dressed today when I picked it up and it was 42 degrees and to me that is cold, I like it to be in the 70's at least:).

Trampas love the color matching frame and inner faring all match great choice. Those handle bars look really comfortable please keep us posted. Congratulations on the Brand spanking new ride. of course I am partial to Black LOL :good: ride safe Fred

Nice LQQking bike you got there (Congrats!)

I would also suggest that you purchase yourself a nice heated jacket for fall/cold weather riding..Too be warm/comfy while riding, sure make all the difference

Trampas, Congrats on the new ride! She's a beauty.

Black is not a color, it is a commitment!

Took the words right out of my mouth! My black 16 looked extremely sharp when it was cleaned/waxed and dust free, but after every ride it would show every gnat I hit.

Great looking ride, congrats!

I'm used to cleaning bikes, the black will be no exception for cleaning, everytime I ride and when home and after motor is cool I take the detail spray and wipe it down before I cover it up, it's just the triglide will take longer than my 2 wheelers.

Trampas I just started using a Lucas speed wax sure does a great job on Old Shiney. Like you I stay after the trike after a ride especially if it was wet. I make sure to wipe down the wheels with windshield washer (no ammonia) so the acid brake dust doesn't stain them. enjoy the new ride. :yahoo:Travel safe Fred/Jeanne

I'm a turtle wax guy myself, I use the turtle spray detailer and I use the turtle wax liquid ice, may try the turtle spray on wax

Did they have to extend your cables for your new handlebars All for now Trampas

Question for you did they have to extend your cables for your high-rise handlebars

Question for you did they have to extend your cables for your high-rise handlebars

I am going to say yes, I paid for a cable kit so I would guess yes, I do know I paid for the plug in wire extensions to make it easier and not to pull on the wire going thru the bars, on some bars you don't need new cables and they just re-route the cables to make it work, with the 12.5 wild one bars it needed a cable kit, I know the one that came in was wrong, it was for a 2 wheeler I guess and they had to re-order a cable kit, has to do the brakes since a triglide has a linked brake system. Hope this answers your question, a dealer can tell you more, I just know I paid for a cable kit.
