Greetings,

I tried to search my question but comments seemed to be mixed.

I am planning to put on 2 + 2 bars on my 21 tri glide. I was wondering if I am going to need extensions or extended lines for: clutch cable, brake line, bar switches?

Thanks

I put them - the narrow 2+2 - on my 2020 TG. Brake and clutch lines ok with a little work removing zip ties, etc. but you have cable clutch so I’d get the 4” extension from Fat Baggers. I did get wiring extensions for switch packs. Not needed for throttle as plenty of length there.

I put 2+2 narrows on my 21 TG, I ran the wires inside the bars, so I did have to place the 15$ H-D wiring extension inside the fairing, and a clutch cable extension, Fat Baggers. Note: The Fat Baggers metal clutch cable adjuster was a no brainer for me to replace the plastic H-D adjuster.

I installed the two plus two on my tri glide. It did not require extensions. With a little repositioning of the cables you should be fine.

I have the 2+2 in the garage waiting for me to do the install. I'm also researching to see if I need any extensions, because once I open it up I need to get it back together within a couple of days. I don't remember things like I used to.

Good luck, take pictures with your phone, before disassembly, watch videos that apply to your model bike and don’t rush. If I can do it; anyone can.

Thanks, pics are a good idea. I put 12" KST bars on my RG3, it wasn't too bad, maybe a couple of hours. It was borderline on needing a clutch extension, but I managed to re-route to my satisfaction.

+1 on "no extensions required". As has been stated a little snip here and there on factory zip ties allows for adjustments. Now this is on 2+2 narrow. The wide version MAY require extensions.

No extensions were required. They are LA Choppers bars, somewhat pricey but it's a long story on how that happened. Here are some photos if interested.
