Had a problem with Headlights!

I've only had my trike about 2 months (04 Honda Goldwing 1800) and I've had it to a local trike shop twice because the headlights don't work. They were able to get them to work but didn't really know how they did it.
Well last week I took it over again the they figured it out. When you push the starter button it turns off the headlight and when you let it go they come back on. Well, my starter button was sticking. It would release enough to disengage the starter but not enough to let the headlights come back on. So they took some contact cleaner and sprayed it down and it works well now. Big problem had a real easy fix once it was found.

Glad you got it figured out Okie. I spray my control switches about 2-3 times a year with contact cleaner for that reason. My old GL-1500 taught me with the stereo/mute switch sticking. I was ready to have the stereo taken out to find out why I couldn't hear it....
