GW 1500 idle

1500 won't idle smooth. Smells like the mixture is too rich. Runs great above idle.

Try to sync the carbs, if it still runs rough, you'll have to clean/rebuild the carbs.

I'd first try a bottle of Techron or Startron in a couple gallons of gas, see if it smooths out, if not, you'll have to clean them.

Try running a bottle of Seafoam in your gas tank. Use 1/2 bottle per tank. If this doesn't work you may have a bad vacuum line. Replace all of the vacuum lines and see if this fixes your problem.
