After a hot day of riding this past week parked bike and heard a hissing noise. Close inspection found it coming from gas cap. Eased gas cap off and whoosh from pressure build up. Never has happened before. Any ideas or comments appreciated.

I know that I should have searched the forum for an answer before I posted. Did and found all I need to know. Hey guys forgive an old dog who does things backwards.
No harm, no foul Charles, you did good.
I believe there is vent line under the gas tank that can get pinched if you have moved your tank recently.
