Garmin Question

Have a Garmin 550 hard wired on the Triglide.....does anyone know if the Garmon 660 will fit on the 550 mount or will I have to change everything out?....I hate to have to go thru pulling the fairing off and rewiring the mount.

+1 I believe the mounts are totally different.

I know the mounts are different. I just changed from a 550 to a 660. The harness is also different. The 550 only had the power leads, the 660 has 3 leads. You can splice the power lead into the new harness if you like.

I would pull the outer fairing, only takes fifteen minutes..plus if you want to sell the 550 the buyer will want the wiring harness for the 550....
