frankenstein trike mufflers

I am looking for the names of some exhaust for my 2006 softail standard with a Frankenstein trike kit. I have seen pictures of exhaust that look like 2 into on cobra pros.I have those pipes but they are too long and will hit the axle. Maybe I need to modify them. Can anyone help me or suggest pipes that will fit and not be too loud

I am moving this to the Harley Trikes section. Maybe you will get some replies there.

Have you tried contacting Frankenstein for suggestions? Sorry I have no experience with that conversion.

frankenstein exhaust

I talked to Frankenstein but they did not know any other exhaust by name they only said there was some revamping but did not know how it was done. I saw some trikes on their picture page that had different pipes than short shots. I would like to know who makes them or what modifications were mad
Thanks in advance

I have the Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2 on my harley dyna with a Frankenstein kit. It is short enough that it does not hit the rear axle plus the curve keeps the exhaust from blowing on the axle.

Mine is a mystery kit but had the same problem. i went to a muffler shop and used a set of se mufflers for a super glide. They made a drop with extra length to get the muffler To fit right at the IRS arm. I used v&h pro one 2 into 1 header. Wanted to use my Bassani but there was no way because of the large out let on the headed.
will look for a photo.

I went with Patriot 2 into 1 with my 98 Fatboy DNA conversion. Shop had to work at it a bit but I'm very happy with them.

trike pipes

I already had a set of thunderheaders so I cut them off , added a pipe with a double bend bent just enough on each end to lower the exhaust enough to fit under the axle. I'm told that on a tuned exhaust the piece of pipe you replace should be the same length as the one you cut out. And try not to make your bends any tighter than you have to so it will flow better. anyway good luck

You can use V&H quiet baffles and wrap as much f/g cloth around them so they will still fit in the pipe. (The f/g they give you with them is only good for 1 wrap.) I scored mine for $ 30 new on eBay without the f/g wrap. It toned it down a lot over the standard baffles. I fabbed additional baffles to fit in the V&H baffles to tone it down further and wrapped them with f/g also.
