Anyone out there in the process of doing a Frankenstein trike conversion. If so what are you converting and how's it going? Also those with a Frankenstein already, what's the most mileage accumulated so far and have you had any problems with it at all?

What does no on have or want to talk about their trike by frankenstein

There are several Frankenstein conversions on this forum. I bet most members are still in the Holiday mode. It may take a few days for them to see the post.

My wife has a 2006 Softail that we converted with a Frankenstein Kit. The kit is top notch and so is there customer support. We have had no problems with anything. It has quite a few miles on it and is one of the best I have ever ridden.

How many miles. did you do the conversion yourself? Was it easy to do? Did you use the racked trees and if not how is the steering?

We did the conversion ourselves. Very ez to install. We added the ez steer triple trees and it steer's good. A little more effort but you get used to it. Mileage is around 1000.

Trike looks great. I have a freewheeler right now but I wish I would have gone with the Frankenstein really looks like an old school hot rod and I bet you don't have the heat from the motor as much

Its running a stock 88TC with a 5 speed. I installed a Power Vision with a map from Fuel Moto. If we keep the speed to a max of 65. We get about 34 MPG, Sometimes I would rather ride it than my Ultra Classic.

08 1200 Sportster, installed in my garage. Top quality kit, customer service.( and cool t shirts.) Have not had any problem, over 9000 mi!es. Rode without raked trees just to compare before I installed them.Yes install the raked trees, it makes it easier to handle.

I really thought there would be a lot more Frankenstein trike owners that would like to talk about their bikes but thanks to those that responded. I am trying to decide weather or not to build a trike but I want to make sure I pick a product that can go at least 75ooo miles without problems

Sorry you didn't get more feed back. IMHO they have a quality product, nothing made today is 100% failproof, but I think you would be satisfied if you purchased a Frankenstein Kit.
