Yup .....
The HD dealer we use and have bought our last 4 HD's from cut a FANTASTIC deal !
We placed and order for a 2010 Red Hot Sunglo with reverse, Security and No freight charge.
That totalled to $33,029 which is what the Dealer up in Concord,NH wanted.
We settled with trading in her 2007 SG with 18k miles and $16,000 !
So that means he gave us $17,000 for her bike which in turn is really
$17,850 because we will not have to pay 5% sales tax on the $17,000.
We only paid $18,500 for her bike 3 years ago in July 2006 but yes we
added $6,000 in extras to it. What is funny is that she got their 1st
07 Street Glide they recieved and now she will get their 1st 2010 Tri Glide.
Delivery is to be end of August or early September. We are giving him her
SG next weekend so he can try to sell it when people are looking for bikes.
We felt it only fair to do because he has been good to us. One other thing
we agreeded on was that any increase in MSRP would be paid for by us.
In 2006 he gave us 2006 prices on her 2007 SG and if you know anything
about HD models there was a HUGE change between 2006 & 2007 touring
models. A big thanks to everyone here and those I sent PM's to and replied
to my questions. You all helped out so much on our decision !
If it wasn't for our dealer upping the trade in price by $3000 over other
dealers we most likely would have went with the Roadsmith kit.
