Digital Tire Gauge - Slime brand

In the Rider Magazine, November issue, page 57.... “Slime” is advertising an air gauge that will not allow air to escape as you are checking the tire pressure. They advertise it as the Slime Elite Digital Air Gauge with Pressure Airlock Technology.

Has anyone had any experience with this tire gauge? As advertised? Good, bad?

I went to the Slime website, typed in a search for the product and found it for $15.99. Also found it on either Carquest or Advance Auto Parts (I forget which) for $12.99.

I had the Slime digital air gauge #20017.....Worked well for years......

I have a Slime digital gauge. It works well, but does allow air to escape due to operator incompetence. I think I will buy myself the new model gauge for Christmas.:stockings:
